Debra Sanders

Mrs. Debra J. Sanders, age 58, of North Biloxi, MS., passed away on Friday, June 4, 2010, in Biloxi. Mrs. Sanders was born in Findly, OH, lived there until 1980, and then moved to Dallas, TX. Debra and her husband, the late Dempsey L. Sanders, resided in Dallas until his passing in 1997. She relocated to Biloxi, MS. and had been there for twelve years. She enjoyed golfing, fishing and water sport activities. She liked to travel and meet new and interesting people. Debra was an animal lover and adopted her dogs from the local animal shelter. Survivors include her children, Tom Lance and Shan VanAlst, her step-children, Gina Riggin and Steven Sanders, six grandchildren, her beloved dogs, Dallas and Indiana, and her sister, Leona of Germany. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial gifts be made in Debras' name to www.aspca.org. On Monday, July 5, 2010, there will be a 1 PM memorial service at The Center Cemetery in Hartly, AR. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
