Debra Swanger

Debra "Debbie" Swanger, age 54, of Gulfport, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Gulfport. She was born in Paola, Kansas and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for twenty-five years. Mrs. Swanger was employed with Louie's for over twelve years. She was a Christian. Her heart was with her flowers and her autistic son. She was preceded in death by her mother, Grace Chambers; granparents, Lyle and Clara Chambers; grandmother, Euna V. Lewis, grandfather, Earl Raymond; a sister, Stella Chambers; and aunts, Elizabeth Kelly and Rose Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Swanger, of Gulfport; three sons, Dwayne Velderman of Gulfport, Daniel Velderman of Travers City, MI, and Raymond Swanger, II of Gulfport; her father, Robert Nathaniel Chambers; two sisters, Donna Estep and Denise Chambers, both of Gulfport; and three grandchildren, Makayla Velderman and Cameron Velderman of Travers City, MI and Devin Velderman of Maine. Visitation will be Thursday , December 6, 2007 from 5 until 8:00 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be Friday, December 7, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach.
