Dell V. Norby

Dell V. Norby, age 88, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009 in Biloxi. She was born in Georgia on April 2, 1920. Mrs. Norby was a resident of Biloxi since 1960. She married her husband, James Norby, August 25, 1969. They experienced thirty-eight years of togetherness, traveling, companionship and love before he preceded her in death on December 18, 2007. She retired from Keesler Air Force Base in 1989 after thirty-four years of federal service. She received many awards during her career. Mrs. Norby was a long-time member of the Retired Seniors Mixed Bowling League at Keesler Air Force Base. Mrs. Norby is survived by one sister, Minnie Kiser of Rome, Georgia. Mrs. Norby will be sadly missed by her friends and neighbors. Funeral Services will be on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home at 10:00 am.
