Delores Jenkins Carroll

Delores Jenkins Carroll, age 69, passed peacefully surrounded by her loved ones at her home on Monday, August 3, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, William “Billy” Carroll, Sr. She was a dedicated and loving mother of seven children: Donna Martin (Mark), Margaret Necaise (Johnny), Dan Parker, Jr. (Gerrie), Cheryl Brown (Steven), Billie Joe Husley (Phillip), William “Bill” Carroll, Jr. (Bridgett), Angel Louderback (Chris). She was the proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, 2 sisters-in-law, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Susie Jenkins; and a brother, William Jenkins, Jr. She enjoyed planting her garden and flowers. She treasured her time with family. The family would like to thank Gentiva Hospice for the care they provided. The funeral service will be held Thursday, August 6 at 11:00 A.M. at Bradford-O’Keefe, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens in Long Beach.
