Denise Shuman

Denise Shuman, 79, of Biloxi, MS went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Mrs. Shuman was a native of Lamar Co., AL, a former resident of Tuscaloosa, AL where she attended high school. She also attended the University of Alabama. Mrs. Shuman had been a resident of the MS Gulf Coast since 1964. She attended services and volunteered at the KAFB chapel. She was a member of Ann Grayson O.E.S. and also Magnolia Swing Square Dance Club. Mrs. Shuman is survived by her husband of 57 years, John Shuman; daughter, Dona Shuman; son, Ben (Luvenia) Shuman; four grandchildren, Priscilla Underwood, April Marie (Michael) Jalbert, Torry Shuman, Emilee Shuman; two great-grandchildren, Sarabeth and Savannah. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 6:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be on Friday, January 21, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Both will be held at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Ave., Biloxi. Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
