Dennis Emanuel Ladnier, Jr., 62, left this earth suddenly on Tuesday, December 9, 2014.
Dennis was born in Biloxi, graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1970 and went to work at Entex Gas. After over 30 years of service, Dennis retired. For the past several years Dennis was a courier for Coast Community Bank.
Dennis was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1244 since he was 18 years old. He held several offices over the years and was also a 4th degree member.
Dennis loved life, a good game of Bouree’, John “The Duke” Wayne, collecting eagles and when at home had his little Maltese, Mikki, by his side. He truly loved traveling with his family and just recently went to Disney World to celebrate his sister Patty’s 60th birthday. Dennis loved the simple things in life but first and foremost was his family and his church.
Dennis is preceded in death by his father, Dennis “Doc” Ladnier; and brother-in-law, Donald Hunt.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife, Adele Ladnier; his daughter, Amanda (Morgan) Frazier; his mother, Anna Mae Ladnier; his sister, Patricia Hunt; his brother, Bob (Cindy) Ladnier; his brothers-in-law, Steve (Christy) Zito and Tom (Jenny) Shaver; his nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews.
Dennis will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. The family would love in lieu of flowers to please donate to Blessed Seelos Catholic Church, 360 Lameuse St., Biloxi, MS 39530.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Blessed Seelos Catholic Church on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Friends may visit from 11:30 am until mass time. Interment will follow at Biloxi City Cemetery.
The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
