Dennis Leon Meins, 57, of Biloxi, MS passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Biloxi.

He is survived by his wife, Gela Lawrence Meins; daughter, Britney (Anthony) Sinclair; grandchildren, Olivia, Isaiah and Amelia; mother, Nancy Taylor Franklin; father, William Meins (Judy); sister, Norma (Wilbur) Ramos; brother, Clifford (Teresa) Meins; father-in-law, George (aka paw-in-law) and preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Georgia. He is also survived by his two very special sidekicks, Seazer and Dee.

Dennis faithfully attended services at Belle Fountain Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman with an infectious smile and an unforgettable sense of humor. Fishing and Hunting were his lifelong hobbies and he spent many hours, days and months on the water and in the woods. Dennis had a big heart and enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and two dogs. He touched the lives of all his nieces and nephews and treated each one special in their own unique way. Affectionately known as “Daddy Rock”, Dennis loved life, lived every moment to the fullest and left all who knew him lifelong, treasured memories.

A Celebration of Mr. Meins’ life will be held at the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum, 115 E. 1st Street, Biloxi, MS 39530 on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi is honored to serve the Meins family.
