Dennis Michael Landry

Dennis "Denny" Michael Landry, Jr. was born into this world on December 18, 1940 and left to join his heavenly Father on October 25, 2008. He lived in Biloxi almost all of his life. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1958, attended Perkinston Jr. College from 1958 to 1960 and then proceeded to Ole Miss where he earned his degree in Pharmacology. He was a registered pharmacist for over 45 years, ending his career at the VA Hospital in Biloxi. Denny was a man who loved music. He was a member of the Rockin' Rebels, a popular band from the 1950's. He played at several reunion dances many years later, which he enjoyed very much. Denny also enjoyed traveling and learning about new places. He visited the Caribbean and Europe several times, and he liked to tour architectural ruins to learn about how other civilizations lived. Denny was a caring and loving man and a man of faith. He attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where he was an active parish member for 40 years and of the Our Lady of Fatima Choir for the past several years. Other than his family, this gave him his greatest joy. He is preceded in death by his father, Dennis Michael Landry, Sr.; his mother Olive Kennedy Landry; and his brother, Joseph Lloyd Landry. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife of 45 years, Sandra Landry of Biloxi; his children, Mike Landry (Debbie Pizzati) of Picayune, Ronald Landry of Long Beach, John Landry of D'Iberville, Drew Landry (Jennifer Miley) of Biloxi, and Marie Gramm (Joe) of Biloxi. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Landry of St. Martin; as well as 10 grandchildren, James Michael (Christa), Craig (Lisa), T.J., Ronny, Randy, Megan, and Mason Landry and Brandon, Ashleigh, and Aaron Wren. Great-grandchildren, Brenden and D.J. Yarbrough, and Rylee Landry, our newest joy. Brother and Sisters-in-law, Ricky and Lila Rivas of Metairie, LA. Many other relatives and friends. Denny will be greatly missed by all. A Memorial Mass will be on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Friends may visit one hour prior to mass. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Pass Road, Biloxi is in charge of arrangements. View and sign a register book @www.bradfordokeefe.com
