Derick Joseph Ladner

Mr. Derick Joseph Ladner, 21, of Kiln, MS died Sunday, May 15, 2005, in Bay St. Louis. Mr. Ladner was a native of Gulfport and a lifelong resident of the coast. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in the Dedeaux Community. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maven "Papa Pedro" Peterson; great grandfather, Aven Peterson; great grandmother, Ethel Peterson; grandmother, Colena Ladner; Uncle, Richard Peterson; great grandmother, Willie Cuevas and his great grandfather, Melvin Cuevas. Survivors include his parents, Raymond and Theresa Ladner; two sisters, Felicia Lander and Jill Ladner; a brother, Blake Ladner all of Kiln; his girlfriend, Savanah Nelson; grandmother, Willie Mae Peterson of Lizana; grandfather, James E. Ladner of Kiln; god parents, Annette Cuevas and Donny Caryl Ladner and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation is Monday, May 16, 2005, from 5 p. m. till at the Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, O'Neal Road, Gulfport. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Wolf River Cemetery.
