Dewey Drexel "DD" King

Mr. Dewey Drexel "DD" King, age 81, died Sunday, October 29, 2006 in Biloxi, MS. Mr. King was born May 8, 1925 in Collins, MS to Dewey and Fannie King. He served four years in the US Navy and worked in the Hotel-Motel business from 1952 until his retirement in 1984. He was a member of Popps Ferry Baptist Church. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Max King. Survivors include his brother, Jack K. King (Peggy Jean); his sons, Tony C. King (Suzanne) , Scotty King (Debbie), and Ronnie King (Renee); his grandchildren, Tony S. King, Kara King, Neil King, Lee Farmer (Nicole), and Christy Farner; his great-grandchildren, Trey Farner and Lindsey Farner and special friend, Bobbie Gray. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 31, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pass Road Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes There will be a 10:00 a.m. chapel service on Wednesday, November 1, 2006 with burial at Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Popps Ferry Baptist Church, 2000 Popps Ferry Road, Biloxi, MS 39532.
