Dianne Lee Deason Cochran

Dianne Lee Deason Cochran, age 74, of Biloxi, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Biloxi, MS. After battling heart disease, she was welcomed into heaven on Friday, March 17, 2023, by her loved ones who were waiting for her. 

Dianne was born on August 9, 1948, at Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans, LA. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1966, and attended the Ringling College of Art & Design in Sarasota, FL and Jeff Davis Community College in Biloxi.

During her life, she was a vital part of the Gulf Coast Art Association, Pass Christian Art Association, Ocean Springs Art Association, and the New Orleans Fine Art Association.  

Dianne spent her free time painting, cultivating her garden, enjoying retirement, reading, and spending time with her friends and family. Everyone who met her, loved her, no matter the length of acquaintance.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard R. Cochran; her parents, James Monroe Deason and Hazel Koenig Deason; and brother, James Monroe Deason II.

Dianne is survived by her sister, Janet Deason Bryan; niece, Jessica Bryan Jones; great nieces and nephews, Hunter Pohlmann, Hailey Pohlmann, Jason Jones, Jack Jones, and Jennifer Deason Hasenhauer, Danielle Deason Hasenhauer, and Stephanie Deason Beauchaine.
