Dianne Edith Whayland Korn

Mrs. Dianne Edith Whayland Korn, age 55, of Ocean Springs, MS., died on Sunday, January 23, 2011, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Korn was a resident of Ocean Springs for the past 13 years. She was a loving wife and mother, a very spiritual woman who attended Gautier Presbyterian Church. She loved to sing, had a voice like an angel and touched many hearts. Mrs. Korn had a beautiful warm smile and offered the best advice to all that needed it. She always saw the best in people. She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Whayland, Jr. and grandmother, Edith Whayland. Survivors include her husband, Mark Korn, two daughters, Shannon (Thomas) Armstrong and Carri (Josh) Carson, two sons, Jason (Donna) Hopkins and Eric Korn, parents, Robert and Annie Whayland, friend and caregiver, Cheryl Brown and two grandchildren, Claire Carson and Caroline Carson. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, from 10 am until 11 am, with an 11 am Memorial Service, all at the Wesley UMC in Ocean Springs.
