Dixie Ann Burns

Mrs. Dixie Ann Lee Eastman Burns, age 73, of Pascagoula, MS., died Wednesday, September 8, 2010, in Pascagoula. Mrs. Burns was a lifelong resident of the coast and attended the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice and William Eastman. Survivors include her husband, Robert Burns, two daughters, Tressa (Jerry) Tapp and Christine (Kenneth) Raber, two sons, Bill (Shelley) Green and Greg (Stacy) Green, a sister, two brothers, twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. On Saturday, September 11, 2010, there will be a 3 pm graveside service in Crestlawn Memorial Park in Ocean Springs. In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations be made to the American Lung Association of MS., P.O. Box 2178, Ridgeland, MS., 39158. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
