Dolores "Dee" Johnson

Dolores "Dee" Moody Johnson died November 2nd 2008. Dee was born September 30th 1942, at home in Biloxi. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Ann (Gleeson) Moody, her brother Charles Moody, and her hunband, Jack Poelma and Johnny Johnson, as well as grandson John Poelma, III Dee retired from Entex Gas Co. and later opened Har-Dee's Harness and Leather in Saucier with Harvey Hudson. She had a zest for life and loved all of God's creations: her precious family, her beautiful flowers, her animals, and her dog Josie Dee is survived by a large loving family, Harvey Hudson, her faithful companion, her children John Poelma and his wife Terry of Latimer, Yvonne Husley and her husband David of Woolmarket, and Susie Sibley and her husband Jason of Gulfport,and her grandchildren Lacy Sibley, Justin Poelma, Samantha Sibley, Jacob Poelma, Adam Poelma, Jack Husley, Vince Husley, Chris Husley and Daniel Husley. She is also survived by her sister Marie (Allen) Cruthirds of Houston, Tx Janice (Dicky) Porter of Biloxi, and Elizabeth (Earl) Johnson of Fayetteville, AR. brothers James Moody of Dallas, Tx and Raymond Moody of Jackson, Ms. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins and dear friend Frank Hudson. The family wishes to express special thanks to Fr. Domonick (St Mary's Catholic Church, Woolmarket), Fr. Greg (St. Michael's Catholic Church, Biloxi) and We Care Hospice, Inc. of Moss Point The funeral service will be held Tuesday November 4th 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at Bradford Okeefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Rd. Gulfport, where friends may visit from 12:00 noon until the service. Interment will follow in Johnson Family Cemetery in Saucier, The family prefers memorials to the Humane Society of South Mississippi, 2615 25th Ave. Gulfport, MS 39501 or to one's favorite charity.
