Dolores "Dozy" Rushing

Mrs. Dolores "Dozy" Trochesset Rushing, 79, of Ocean Springs, MS, died January 18, 2007, in Ocean Springs after a brief illness. Mrs. Rushing was a resident of Ocean Springs but was raised in D'Iberville. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Ida Fayard Trochesset; brothers, Oswald, John, George, Ray, Earl, Gerald, Will and Jack, and sisters, Ruby Boney, Elinor Diaz, Irene Poulos and Carmen Demourelle. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Crawford J. Rushing; daughter, Rhonda Rosetti, of D'Iberville; son, R. Scott Rushing, Sr. and his wife, Maryanne, of Perkinston; three grandsons, Todd, Jarred and Scotty, Jr.; three great grandchildren, Alexis, Landon and Dylan; sisters, Anna Baxter of Smithfield, Ky, Beatrice Viator of Sequin, WA and Malvene Osterhout of Panama City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews who were dear to her heart. Private services will be held at the request of Mrs. Rushing. The family prefers memorials be made to St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 10446 Lemoyne Blvd., D'Iberville, MS 39540, or to a charity of your choice. A special "Thank you" to the nurses of the MICU at Ocean springs Hospital and numerous doctors who gave such love with their care. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
