Don B. Swain, 71, of River Ridge, LA, died Monday, April 30, 2007 in Ocean Springs, MS. Don was a native of River Ridge, LA, for over 60 years, and has lived in Ocean Springs, MS for the past 7 years. He was a graduate of Kenner High School, Class of 1954. He attended L.S.U. for 2 years. He was born on November 19, 1935 to the late Bill and Audre Swain, Sr. in New Orleans, LA. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Simone Vicknair Swain, his brother, William Swain, Jr. and wife Rochelle of Harvey, LA; 2 nieces, Tyra and Tanya, 1 nephew, Terry; 2 sons, Dean Swain and wife Carla, of New Orleans, LA, Doug Swain and wife Amy of River Ridge, LA, now residing in Ocean Springs, MS; 1 daughter, Dana Desmet and husband Francois, of France; 7 grandchildren: Brooke Swain, Anthony, Matthieu and Audrey Desmet, Mikey Swain, Logan and Blake Swain. Visitation will be on Tuesday, May 8, 2007, from 10:30 AM-11 AM, with an 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial all at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church in Ocean Springs, MS. The Ocean Springs Chapel of BRADFORD O'KEEFE Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
