Don S. Phillips

Mr. Don S. Phillips, 67, of Biloxi, MS, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, in Biloxi. Mr. Phillips was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. He was a U. S. Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and served aboard the USS Frank Knox. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wilson and Lucy Annabelle Phillips, ten sisters and five brothers. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Nadeyda Phillips of Biloxi; a daughter, Kimberly Phillips, of Biloxi; one son, Shawn Phillips, of Perkinston; two brothers, Henry Midill Simmons, of Ocean Springs and J. W. Phillips of Vancleave and five grandchildren, Courtney Phillips of Biloxi, MS; Taylor Phillips, Matthew Phillips, Peyton Phillips and Brycen Phillips all of Perkinston. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 14, 2005, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
