Donald Buettel

Donald Buettel, 48, of Ocean Springs passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2006. He was born in Michigan and had been a resident of Ocean Springs since 1995. Mr. Buettel retired as a Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force and was employed as an engineer with Ocean Springs Hospital. He was his son's number one soccer fan and best friend. Mr. Buettel was preceded in death by his father, Willie Buettel. Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Raquel A. Buettel; his son, Daniel Buettel and his mother, Dorothy Worth all of Ocean Springs; two sisters, Sharon Green of Atlanta and Susan Lapin of Nevada; two brothers, Gary Buettel of Ocean Springs and Bill Buettel of Mobile. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary on Thursday, January 4, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2007 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
