Mr. Donald B. Quave, 81, of Ocean Springs, MS, died Friday, May 7, 2010, in Gautier
Mr. Quave, a native and lifelong resident of Jackson County, was retired from Ingall's Shipbuilding and a former deputy sheriff with Jackson County Sheriff's Office. he was lovingly known as "Uncle Donald" to all who knew him.
Mr. Quave was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Grace Delancey Quave; three sisters, Flora Blankenship, Mary Reeves and his twin sister, Dorothy "Dot" Goss; five brothers, Clarence "Bud" Quave, Sidney Quave, Luther Quave, Ronald Quave and Ray Quave. He is survived by his brother, Norris Quave, sister-in-law, Jean Quave, brother-in-law, James Goss, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 12 noon Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs where friends may visit from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in the Quave Family Cemetery in Latimer.
