Donald R. Davis

Donald R. Davis died on September 10, 2020. He was 71 years old. He was born on May 11, 1949. He was married to Elizabeth Haas Davis. He had 2 children, and 4 grandchildren. He loved golf, Sudoku, playing games, being outdoors, fishing, being on the lake and being with family. He had a way of making everyone laugh even when we shouldn’t. His life was not perfect; he overcame a lot of obstacles and the ones he did not overcome, he wished he had. He was a larger than life strong man with lots of pride. He loved his wife and his children and grandchildren and the rest of his family and his friends the best he could. Don was preceded in death by his father, Franklin Davis and his mother Emily Davis; and his brother, John Davis. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hass Davis; his son , Brant Davis and his wife Desiree Davis, and their children Ross and Carli; his daughter Elizabeth Davis Didlake and her husband Billy and their children Ben and Mason; his sister Nanci Perilloux and her husband Charles ( their children and grandchildren); and Darla Davis Maynard and her husband Bill ( their children and grandchildren); His nieces and nephews: Stacy Parks (Jeremy), Christie McMillan (Sean), Chris Davis (Caroline), Aimee Tschiffely (Chauncey), Patricia Vaughn (Eric) , Maygan Howard (Alex), Will Maynard, Matthew Maynard; and great nieces and nephews; step children: Tara Winchester (Danny). Natalie Bourg (Chip) and Kay Bostick, Daniel Maurer (Adrian) and their children and grandchildren. He will be remembered by his love for life and his incorrigible strong will. Thank you for all your prayers and thoughts for the family as we go through our mourning journey. We know that Don loved and believed in God and proclaimed Jesus Christ as the son of God so we will see him in heaven. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street in Gulfport, is honored to serve this family.
