Donald Lee Dunbar

We regret to announce the passing of Donald L. Dunbar, 84, of Ocean Springs, MS formerly of Pittsburgh, PA on February 14, 2023. Don passed peacefully surrounded by his loving family.

During his life he had notable careers as a carpet installer, truck driver for Reinholds Ice Cream, Security guard at Biloxi Regional Hospital, and a proud Veteran for the U.S. Air Force.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ruth Dunbar; brother, William “Bill” Dunbar; and brothers-in-law, Lary Mason and Troy Bass. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna; son, Brady (Lindsay) Dunbar; step daughter, Bethanne (Scott) Mordecki; grandchildren, Lindsay (Dustin) Bussard, Rachel (Branden) Rice, and Elise Dunbar; great grandchildren, Finnick, Zailey, Alayna, and Robin; sister-in-law, Carol, Kathy (Mitch) Richardson, and Tommye Lyn Mason.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, February 17, 2023 at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Ocean Springs. Friends may visit one hour prior.
