Donald Eugene Richards

Don Richards, 68, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 in Biloxi. Mr. Richards was born in Gulfport and a resident of the Coast most of his life, and also a former resident of Conroe, TX. He previously served in the Naval Reserve. He was a lifetime member of DAV. Mr. Richards was a retired cabinet maker and a well known coast musician. He was a Baptist. Mr. Richards was preceded in death by his parents Maggie and Hershel Richards and a son Wayne Richards. Survivors include his wife, Nell Richards, 4 daughters, Monica Mizell of Splendora, TX, Mary Richards of Gulfport, Sabrina Hoda of Vancleave, Valerie Walker of Beaumont, TX, step-daughter, Candice Becker of Gulfport, his son, Ricky Richards of Conroe, TX, 2 step-sons, Eric Becker, William Van Dyke both of Gulfport, his brother, Hershel A. Richards of Gulfport, and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-7:30pm, Thursday, April 28, 2005 at Orange Grove Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road in Gulfport. A 2:00 pm service will be Friday, April 29, 2005 at Biloxi River Baptist Church, where friends may visit one hour before service. Interment will be at Coalville Cemetery.
