Donald Frank Hartl

Donald F. Hartl, 70, of Biloxi, MS died Saturday, March 15, 2008 in Biloxi. Donald was born in Antigo, Wisconsin and was the son of Frank and Bernice Hartl of Sturgeon Bay, WI. He came to Biloxi, MS in 1970 on assignment to the CBC in Gulfport, MS where he later became Chief of Transportation. He retired in 1974 after 22 years in the Seabees. He became a resident of Biloxi, MS. Thereafter making it his home. Donald leaves behind his wife, Barbara K. Hartl of Biloxi, MS, five children: four daughters, Donna and Richard Singer of Atlanta, GA, Georgia K. and Dave Capps of Biloxi, MS, Patrenia and Brian LeBlanc of Hammond, LA, Teresa M. Hartl of Meridian, MS and one son, Anthony L. Hartl of Biloxi, MS. Survivors also include eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Private services will be held at a later date with burial in the Biloxi National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to: American Cancer Society, 417 Security Square, Gulfport, MS 39507.
