Donald Gartman

Donald O. Gartman, 82, of Saucier died Saturday, January 1, 2005 in Gulfport. Mr. Gartman served in the United States Army and was a veteran of World War II. He was a former Longshoreman. Mr. Gartman was a member of the DAV, VFW, and Lions Club. He was a member of Poplarhead United Methodist Church in Saucier. Mr. Gartman was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Etta Gartman, and two brothers Willard and Herbert Gartman. He is survived by his wife Mary Lou Gartman of Saucier; two daughters, Sylvia D. Bradley of Hurley and Janet M. Hester of Jackson; three sons, Donald Gene Gartman of Wiggins, Michael O. Gartman and Jeffrey D. Gartman both of Saucier; a sister, Shirley Murphy of Saucier; two brothers. Etric Gartman of Savannah, GA and Teddy Gartman of Gulfport; 13 grandchildren, Todd Bradley, Steve Bradley, Kristen Bradley, Paul Hester, John Hester, Amanda Gartman, Christopher Gartman, Kaela Gartman, Melissa Gartman, Ashleigh Gartman, Tom Gartman, Kathleen Gartman, and Owen Gartman; and three great-grandchildren, Sarah and Kimberly Bradley and Gavin Andrews. Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home on O'Neal Road in Orange Grove. Services will be held Tuesday, January 4, 2005 at 10 a.m. at Poplarhead United Methodist Church in Saucier. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Church Cemetery.
