Mr. Donald J. Elliott, 69, of Latimer, MS died Sunday, April 24, 2005, in Ocean Springs.
Mr. Elliott was born in Boydsville, Arkansas. He was a retired U. S. Air force Veteran of Vietnam with 23 years of service. He was born again as a christian in October, 2004 and a member of D'Iberville Moose Lodge.
Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his father, Virgil Elliott and step father, Ed Banks. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Mary Elliott; his mother, Thelma Banks of Paragould, AR; sister, Carolyn Guyott of Arnold, MO; sons, Christoper "Mike" Elliott of Oregon; William "Bill" Elliott and his wife, Lois, of Wellington, NV; Robert "Bobby" Elliott and his wife, Kathy, of Korea; step children, Ron Groue and his wife, Sandy, Matt Groue and his wife, Pam and Becky Taylor all of Latimer and Eric Groue of Vancleave; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 28, 2005, from 6 to 9p.m. at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes in Biloxi. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Biloxi National Cemetery with full military honors.
