Donald Wayne Martin, Sr.

Mr. Donald Wayne Martin, Sr., age 67, of North Biloxi, MS, 16308 Waycross Drive, died Wednesday, September 14, 2005. Mr. Martin was born and raised in Alabama but had lived the last 34 years on the Gulf Coast and for 27 years in the St. Martin Community. He had served in the U.S. Air Force for 23 years and worked for the last 27 years at Keesler Air Force Base in Human Resources Management. He was preceded in death by his father, Colley Martin; sister-in-law, Wendy Burton; in-laws, Holland and Mama Tubbs; and his beloved granddaughter, Krissy Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sarah, the love of his life; two daughters, Pamela Griffin of Vancleave, Donna Roberts of Lumberton; two sons, Donald Wayne Martin, Jr., and Randall Dwayne Martin, both of St. Martin; his mother, Violet Martin of Clanton, AL; two sisters, Elaine Marshall and husband, Larry, of Clay, AL, and Tracia Bussey and husband, Travis, of Thorsby, AL; three beloved sisters, Holli Allan of Missouri; Kay Brasher of Gardendale, Alabama, and Linda Fulmer of Holland, Michigan; five beloved brothers, Jerry Tubbs of Fort Payne, AL, Terry Tubbs of Boston, MA, Gene Tubbs of Steele, AL, Ronnie Tubbs of Vancleave, and Phillip Tubbs of Jemison, AL; nine grandchildren, Sarah Boone, Clay Boone, Joshua Boone, Shane Brindley, Rachel Griffin, Alicia Gifford, Jolene Hardy, Jasmine Martin, C.J. Martin, and three great-grandchildren, Kayle Gifford, Cadence Hardy, Clayton Balius; the Seabees NMCB #7, Clay, Zane, Wilson, Bryan, Green, Dibbs, Evans; and Marine Serviceman Nick. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 17, 2005, from 6-9 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. On Sunday, September 18, 2005, there will be a 2 PM funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
