Donald Edward Wilson went to his eternal home in Christ on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at age 87.
Donald was a resident of Pass Christian, MS. He took many college classes throughout his life, not for a degree, but to learn. Donald was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force as a Staff Sergeant. He began his career with Philco as a contractor for NASA from 1964 to 1972 and later worked for AMF Tuboscope and finally, Avondale. Donald loved building things (from bird houses to his own house), recreational fishing, learning new technologies and trade skills, and telling great stories and terrible jokes. His faith in God was life-long. He even considered going into seminary. He attended Lutheran, Episcopal, Catholic, and Anglican Churches. He taught his children to love the Lord and ice cream.
Donald is survived by his children, Donna (Gene), Tom (Nancy), Phylis (Mike); grandchildren, Marcus, Sarah (Tim), and Geoffrey; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Mason, William, and Benjamin; several nieces and nephews; and his close friend, Tom Merrill.
