Donna Kay Edwards

Donna Kay Edwards was born November 5, 1952 and passed away on December 5, 2012 in Ocean Springs’ hospital due to complications from lung cancer. Donna was born in Shreveport, LA to Harvey Smith and Bessie Louise Mulligan who precede her in death. She grew up in Harrisville, MS and moved to Jackson as a young adult then made the coast her home in 1993 until she laid to rest. Donna is survived by her only child, Bianca Hale of Vancleave, MS; four brothers and sisters, Robert (Virginia) Smith of Slidell, LA, Betty (Dudley) Salers of Brandon, MS, Sherry Smith also of Brandon, MS and Mae Ann Champion of Nashville, TN; two grandchildren, Shelby Hale and Dakota Bird; her best friend, Charlie Edwards of Vancleave, MS and numerous nieces and nephews. Donna will be missed by those who knew her and she will be loved forever by her family. The family will hold a private visitation at a later date. Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Vancleave Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
