Donna Trochesset Richmond

Donna Trochesset Richmond passed away on March 24, 2020 at her home in D’Iberville, MS. Born in Biloxi on February 17, 1947, Donna grew up in D’Iberville and graduated from Sacred Heart Academy in 1965. She had a career as a school administrator with the Ocean Springs School District and retired in 2013. Donna was also a life-long member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D’Iberville. As a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother, Donna’s greatest love was spending time with her family. She also had many friends whom she cherished dearly and with whom she experienced the adventures of life both big and small. From travelling, to going to sporting events, to fishing, or to simply getting together to play cards, she wasn’t just active…she was active with the people that she loved. Donna is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wayne Richmond; parents, George and Aranell Trochesset; and brother, Vincent Trochesset. She is survived by her sons, Randall Richmond (Kathryn) and Jeremy Richmond; four amazing grandchildren, Lucy, Finn, Lily, and Macy; sister, Oreen Croncich (George); brother, Owen Trochesset (Patsy); and sister, Deborah Holloway. A special thank you to Oreen, Owen, and Patsy for escorting her to Europe to see the Pope, the Vatican, and numerous other religious sites in the final months of her life. It was a great dream of hers, and it would not have been possible without you. A funeral and celebration of life for Donna will be held this summer.
