Doris "Dee" Horst

Doris "Dee" Wilson Horst, age 78, of Pass Christian, died Friday, October 7, 2011 in New Orleans. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Long Beach. An avid golfer, she was a member of Pass Christian Isles Golf Club. She served her church and community with her generous and kind spirit. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed by them all. She was preceded in death by her husband, CMSgt. Herbert Henry Horst (USAF Retired). Mrs. Horst is survived by two daughters, Linda Marra and Debbie Ballard; a sister, Barbara (Bill) Kinsey; a brother, Max (Paula) Wilson; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Marra, Justin Ballard, and Jessica Delumyea. Special thanks are sent to the staff of St. Anna's Residence and Guardian Hospice for their compassion and caring. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 12:30 P.M. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 11:30 A.M. Interment will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
