Doris Ethel Beaugez Galle, 74, of Ocean Springs, was born on September 23, 1931 in Ocean Springs, MS. Mrs. Galle was a native and lifelong resident of Ocean Springs. She went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2005. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. She was a longtime member of the Volunteer Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. She was also known for her cajun stuffed crabs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernard and Cora Seymour Beaugez and her sister, Mary Terry.
Mrs. Galle is survived by her husband of 57 years, Thomas "Tom" Galle, Sr. of Ocean Springs; her two daughters, Cora Lee Barton and husband, Edward, of Saucier, and Deborah Ann Saujon of Gulfport, her three sons, Joseph "J.B." Galle and wife, Debbie, of Ocean Springs, Thomas "Tommy" Galle, Jr. and wife, Esther, of Ocean Springs, and James E. Galle of Vancleave, her two sisters, Janet Munger and husband, Chuck, and Ann Beaugez, all of Ocean Springs; her three brothers, Raymond (Donnie) "Big Boy" Beaugez, David (Danita) "Moe" Beaugez and Robert (Olive) "Woody" Beaugez; and seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Friday, October 7, 2005 from 6 to 9 P.M. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
On Saturday, October 8, 2005, there will be 1:00 PM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, where friends may call from 12 Noon until 1 PM.
Burial will follow in Bellande Cemetery in Ocean Springs, MS.
