Doris Lawrence

Mrs. Doris J. Lawrence, age 72, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Thursday, January 26, 2006, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Lawrence was a member of the community for 30 years. She attended the University of Southern Mississippi and received her BS degree in nursing. She was a sorority member of Beta Sigma Phi, a member of the Elks Lodge #5109 in Ocean Springs, and was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church. Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn A. Lawrence and her parents, Anthony and Helen Gangemi. She is survived by four sons, Allen (Dolores) Lawrence of Richton, MS., Jeffery S. Lawrence, David P. (Patti) Lawrence, and Karl A. (Kelly E.) Lawrence, all of Ocean Springs, MS., a brother, Karl (Dolores) Gangemi of Reading, PA., and four grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, January 30, 2006, from 6-8 PM, at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home.
