Doris P. Miller

Doris P. Miller, 86, of Columbia, MS died on Sunday, October 28, 2012. Mrs. Miller was born on December 29, 1925 to Albert and Myrtis Reagan in Columbia, MS. She was a hairdresser and property owner in Pascagoula for over sixty years. Mrs. Miller was very civic minded and worked on many community projects and she loved everything to do with Mardi Gras. Mrs. Miller was of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruby Kelley, Sophie Walden, Eula Lee Reagan and Alberta Lowe; brother, Jessie W. Reagan; daughter, Brenda Penton Bourne; her first husband, Arzo Penton and second husband, Jack Miller. Mrs. Miller is survived by four nephews, three nieces and many friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Jackson County Memorial Park Cemetery in Pascagoula.
