Dorothea Marie Clemons-Gafford, age 79, died Saturday, April 21, 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas after battling a long term illness.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA and had been a resident of Biloxi for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing bingo with friends and family and was also a volunteer at the VA hospital in Biloxi.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Herbert Clemons and Donald Gafford; her father and mother, Peter and Theresa DiCioccio.
Survivors include her sons, Mark L. Clemons (Rhetta) of Weatherford, TX, Herbert T. Clemons (Terri) of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Jeffrey R. Clemons (Deborah) of Seabrook, TX; her sister Rachael Lodholtz of Pittman, NJ; brothers, Blase Campbell of Fort Oak, NC and William Di Cioccio and Pete DiCioccio both of Wildwood, NJ; ten grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 2 pm until 3 pm, with a 3 pm chapel service at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home, Biloxi, MS.
