Dorothy Ruth Collier

Dorothy Ruth Collier, 69, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away Monday, May 27, 2019 in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Collier was born January 27, 1950 in Oak Grove, LA. She enjoyed fishing and doing word search puzzles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Jessie Cowden; her son, Bert Collier; and her siblings, Edna Orr, Jenny Orr, Cecil Cowden, Buddy Johnson and Clarence Johnson. Mrs. Collier’s survivors include her husband, Aubrey Collier, Sr.; her children, Allen Collier and Aubrey Collier, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lynda Collier, Bert Collier, Jr., Daniel Collier, William Cook and Samuel Ryan; her great-grandchildren, Bert Collier, III and Sarah Collier; and her sister, Shirley Rushing. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, May 31, 2019 at Fayard Cemetery in Latimer. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home was honored to have served the Collier family.
