Dorothy "Dot" D. Miller

Dorothy D. Miller "Dot", of Gulfport, MS, departed this life to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ, on Friday, February 9, 2018. Dot was born in October 1958 to Clarence A. Davis, Jr. and Naomi N. Davis in Lancaster, OH. She was united in marriage in 1980 to Steven R. Miller and to this union they were blessed with the best son ever, Brice A. Miller. Dot is preceded in death by her father, Clarence A. Davis, Jr.; and her father and mother-in-law, Max and Mary Miller. In addition to her husband, Steve, and her son, Brice, she is survived by her mother, Naomi; two sisters, Linda Umstattd (Richard) and Judy Toche (Charles); her brother, Jerry Davis (Freida); three sisters-in-law, Carol, Judi, and Jan; two brothers-in-law, Scott and Gary; and sixteen nephews and nieces, plus a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Dot was richly blessed with countless wonderful friendships. Dot was a member of Gulfhaven Mennonite Church and was very involved with her church; she sang with the "Seven Sisters" group for over ten years, worked with the youth, and was involved in many other church ministries. She was employed with Hancock Bank for over 32 years. She also was involved in numerous organizations in the community. Please join her family in a celebration of her life. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m., followed with the Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. Interment to follow church. Friends are invited to join the family for a celebration meal immediately afterwards at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials/donations be made to Gulfhaven Mennonite Church Youth or Pine Lake Fellowship Camp. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
