Dorothy "Dot" Romero Summerlin

rs. Dorothy "Dot" Romero Summerlin, 81, of Biloxi, MS, died Friday, February 27, 2009, in Lumberton, MS. Mrs. Summerlin was a native and lifelong resident of Biloxi. She was a retired seafood worker, having worked for Suarez Seafood Co. for the last 35 years. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Biloxi. Mrs. Summerlin was preceded in death by her husband, Larney Summerlin, Jr.; son, George Summerlin; parents, Dorthy and Agnes Savoy Romero; and brother, Gerald Romero. She is survived by two daughters, Rose Marie Summerlin, and Mary Blanchard; two sons, Lonnie Summerlin, III, and Jeffrey (Dorothy) Summerlin; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. Private family services will be held. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi is in charge of arrangements.
