Dorothy W. Eleuterius

Dorothy W. Eleuterius, 94, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 in Ocean Springs.

Mrs. Eleuterius was born on August 13, 1929 in Winchester, VA to Stanley Eugene Weir and Frances Lillian Hummer. She was employed with D’Iberville High School for 27 years. Mrs. Eleuterius enjoyed cooking.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jules D. Eleuterius; her parents; and her siblings, Frances “Teeny” Weir and Boofy Weir.

Mrs. Eleuterius’ survivors include her son, John H. Anderson, Jr.; her grandchildren, John H. Anderson, III, Christopher R. Anderson, Brian J. Anderson, Jake T. Anderson and Andrew P. Carpenter; her great-grandchildren, Jessika Anderson, Jennifer Anderson and Connor Anderson; and her great-great-grandchildren, Josie Bouchillon and Izzy Bouchillon.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Marguerite Barlow, loving caregiver and friend; dear friends, Jimmy and Rhonda Murray, Mark and Kathy Williams, Belinda and Tom Brown and Tim and Betty Morgan; and dear family, Bobby and Nancy Eleuterius.

A Memorial Service will be held at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home on Howard Avenue in Biloxi on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at 4:00 pm. Friends may visit from 3:00 pm until service time. Interment will be held at Biloxi City Cemetery.
