Dorothy Elizabeth "Dot" Ross

Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Ross, age 85, of Ocean Springs, MS., died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Ross was a resident of the community for sixty five years. She was the Past District President of the VFW Auxiliary, Past President of the Biloxi VFW Auxiliary and Past PTA President of the Biloxi School System. She loved to make ceramics and play card games with her fellow residents at the Villa Maria Retirement Home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Willis D. Ross, Sr., her parents, Richard and Katherine Kryzan, and a brother, Richard Kryzan, Jr. Survivors include a daughter, Janice Daams of Ocean Springs, MS., four sons, Willis "Bud" Ross, Jr, also of Ocean Springs, MS., Richard Wayne (Betty Jo) Ross of Biloxi, MS., Stanley Craig (Tricia) Ross of Vicksburg, MS., and Jerome D. Ross of Vancleave, MS., nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 9-11 AM, with an 11 AM church service, all at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Ocean Springs. Burial will follow in Southern Memorial Park. The Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
