Dorothy Lowery Ramsay

Mrs. Dorothy Lowery Ramsay, age 64, of Latimer, MS., died Friday, October 17, 2008, in Latimer. Mrs. Ramsay was a native and lifelong resident of the coast. She enjoyed Bingo, Casinos and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elliot Ramsay, her father, James Lowery and her sisters, Annette West and Diane Fritz. Survivors include a daughter, Christine (Rick) Safsten of Ogden, Utah, a son, Elliot (Angela) Ramsay of Latimer, her mother, Dorothy Cooper Lowery, a sister, Amanda Scarbrough, four brothers, Elvin Lowery, Sydney Lowery, Robert Lowery, and Kenneth Lowery, and eight grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 21, 2008, from 9 AM-11 AM, with an 11 AM chapel service, all at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Ryan Cemetery- Gulf Hills, in Ocean Springs.
