Dorothy M. Franklin

Dorothy M. Franklin, 69, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005 in Biloxi. Dorothy was a native of Waynesboro, MS and had been a resident of the coast for 47 years. She was of the Holiness Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Slater and Grace Craig Holifield; a son, William S. Franklin; two sisters, Helen Louise Harrison and Hazel M. Franklin; and a brother, Herman Holifield. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene E. Beam of Bodin, GA and Dorothy K Gale of D'Iberville, MS; Three sons, Larry N. Hayes of Laurel, MS; Walter L. Simpson of Memphis, TN; and Timothy J. Franklin of Biloxi, MS; a brother, Ernest E. Holifield of Laurel, MS; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, April 22, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. Services will be Saturday, April 23 at 2:00 pm. All at the Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park
