Dorothy Mae (Parker) Fayard, 80, died Friday, July 27, 2007 in Gulfport. Dorothy was a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She was a homemaker. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Elton J. "Primo" Fayard, her parents, Hugh A. and Mary Jane Miller Parker, brothers, Hugh A. Parker, Jr. and Curtis M. Parker. Survivors include daughters, Lynda Fayard Rowley of Baton Rouge, LA, Carol Fayard Dick and her husband Richard of Biloxi, MS, Rhonda Fayard Blackledge and her husband, Brian of Baton Rouge, LA, and Lisa Fayard Taylor and her husband Thane of Milton, FL, sister, Ella Rae Chase of St. Maries, ID, eleven granchildren, Michelle Rowley Templet, Stephen Rowley, Richard Dick, Jr., Ashlee Dick Yard, Courtney Martrain, Morgan Marinoff, Jacques' Marinoff, Jason Blackledge, Lauren Blackledge, Parker James Taylor, Maegan Taylor, six great-granchildren, Mallory Templet, Layne Templet, Hannah Rowley, Grace Rowley, Braxton Matherne and Ashtin Yard. Donations in memory of Dorothy as a tribute to her grandson, Jacques' to: Organization for Autism Research, 2000 No. 14th St., Suite 480, Arlington, VA., 22201 or online @ www.researchautism.org. Mass of Christian Burial is Monday, July 30, 2007 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church at 3:00 p.m. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Interment will be at Southern Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, Biloxi.
