Dorothy Ann McGuire

Dorothy Ann McGuire, age 76, of Ocean Springs died Saturday, December 13, 2014. Mrs. McGuire was born on May 10, 1938 in Petal, MS. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Ocean Springs for over 30 years and was a childcare provider for over 20 years. Mrs. McGuire was preceded in death by her parents, Joda and Lillie Claire Bruce Trussell; husband, William James McGuire; siblings, Joseph Trussell, William Trussell, Ernest Trussell, Elmer Trussell and Elizabeth Gay. Survivors include her children, Robert McGuire, Lisa McGuire Hanser, Thomas McGuire, Sandra McGuire Palmer and Ronald McGuire; 6 grandchildren; and her sister, Carolyn Travis. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Emmanuel Baptist Church at 11am. Friends may visit from 10-11am. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. The Howard Avenue Chapel of Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
