Dorothy Heindl Moore

Mrs. Dorothy Moore, age 72, of Vancleave, MS passed away after a long illness, on Friday, July 11, 2014, in Ocean Springs. Mrs. Moore was a Navy wife for twenty years and a member of Ramsey Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles John Moore Jr. and her parents, Peter and Dorothy Hannagan Heindl. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Charles John Moore Sr, five daughters, Dorothy Houk, Joyce Moore, Jennifer Boyd, Beth McKee and Kathy Easterling, three brothers, Peter Heindl, George Heindl and Andrew Heindl, eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. On Thursday, July 17, there will be a 6 pm Memorial Service at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford O'Keefe Funeral Home. Burial will be at 9 am on Friday, July 18 at Biloxi National Cemetery. Mrs. Moore requested that family and friends wear casual dress. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to the Salvation Army.
