Dorothy Preston Bloom

Dorothy Preston Bloom, age 85, of Saucier, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in Saucier. Mrs. Bloom was born in Pawtucket, RI and had been a resident of the Gulf Coast for about seventy years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene William Bloom. She is survived by four daughters, Dorothy Middleton of Kansas, Jenny Wavra of Gulfport, Angela Palazzolo of New Orleans, La, and Barbara Palazzolo of Saucier; a son, Ben Palazzolo of Las Vegas, NV; a sister, Janet Preston Feallock of Pensacola, FL; three brothers, Richard Preston, Robert Preston, and Howard Preston all of Pensacola, FL; eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery, Gulfport. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, O'Neal Road, Gulfport is in charge of arrangements.
