Dorothy Strain

Dorothy G. Strain, 77, of St. Petersburg, FL, died Saturday, January 1, 2005 in Tampa, FL. Mrs. Strain was born in Washington D.C. and was a former resident of Gulfport and Long Beach. She retired in 1984 after 30 years of service from the U.S. Government, Office of Personnel Management, in both payroll and retirement claims. Mrs. Strain was preceded in death by her husband, David Gilbert Strain; and 2 sisters, Ruth Adele Wilson and Frances Louise O'Connor. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly A. Pruitt and her husband, Charles M. Pruitt of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Interment service was held Wednesday, January 5, 2005 in Biloxi National Cemetery. Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, 15th Street, Gulfport was in charge of arrangements.
