Dorothy Tell Tremmel, 92, of Biloxi, died Wednesday, July 12, 2007 in Biloxi.
Dorothy has lived on the Gulf Coast for 72 years since 1934. She was a native of New Orleans, worked as secretary for Kennedy Marine and later worked as an Administrative Secretary for the City of Biloxi. She was a member of Nativity B.V.M., active in the Art Community with ceramics, flowers and painting. She loved her family, church and hobbies.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jacob "J.T." Tremmel, her parents, William and Nellie Bourgeois Tell, daughter, Dorothy Allman and grandson, Shawn Allman.
She is survived by her daughters, Jean Hebert of Biloxi, Gwen Cates and her husband John of Vancleave, Cheryl Casto and her husband Keith of Moss Point, son, Jacob Tremmel of Biloxi, 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at Nativity B.V.M. on Monday, July 16, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. Friends may visit one hour prior. Interment in Southern Memorial Park.
