Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Tiblier Trautman, 82 of D'Iberville, MS. died Monday May 9, 2005 in Gulfport, Ms.
She was a native of Biloxi and remained a lifelong resident of the coast. She was a 1941 graduate of Biloxi High School where she was the first female drum majorette for the Biloxi High School Band. She was employed with Southern Bell Telephone during WWII when the atttack on Pearl Harbor occurred. She was later employed with the Tax Collectors Office of Biloxi for 25 years. Mrs. Trautman worked countless hours raising money for Sacred Heart Catholic Church during its annual bazaar operating the cake walk.
She was preceded in death by her husband Stuart Trautman; Her parents: Julius F. Tiblier and Eleanor and husband Val Fascio; Wilda and Julius Taranto and Junnie and Ivy Tibiler; granddaughter: Audra Vennetta Bland.
She is survived by: Daughters: Karen Galle'and her husband Curtis Jr.; of Biloxi; Terry Marshall of D''Ibervile; Sons: Eddie Wold of D'Iberville and Tim Wold of Gautier; two sisters: Judy Tiblier Ross and Beverly Chester of Biloxi; Three brothers: Walter, Wallace and Larry Tiblier of Biloxi. Grandchildren: Valerie Galle'- Leoni, Curtis Galle', Jenny Warder; Kasey Fenalson; Korie Robertson.; Chad Wold; and Jarod Wold. Great grandchildren: Trevin Osterman; Tristen Bland; Sabyn Hamilton; Jacob Galle' and Zachary and Jacob Warder.
A special thanks to Dr. Douglas Lanier and the staff of Memorial Hosital of Gulfport. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2005 from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes, Howard Avenue in Biloxi, MS. with scriptures at 6:30 P.M.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:30 A.M. where friends may call one hour before. Burial at Biloxi City Cemetery.
The family would like to invite their friends to join them for a reception to be held at the Biloxi Elks Lodge Bradford House following the commital services.
