Mrs. Dorothy Hebert, 82, lifelong resident of N. Biloxi, MS, died Friday, September 19, 2008, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Hebert worked at Barq's Rootbeer, E R Moore and retired from Bausch & Lomb. She loved corcheting, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She was a strong woman in heart and mind and she will be thought of often, prayed for daily and dearly missed. She rejoined her husband, Eddie Hebert, Sr. in God's grace.
Mrs. Hebert was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Edwina "Coot" and Thomas Riggle; and her brother, Thomas E. Riggle. She is survived by her children, Esprie (T.O.) Morris and E. J. (Lois) Hebert, Jr.; grandchildren, Stephine (Jimmy) Carter, Shellie Morris, Trisha (Jimmy) Stringer, Dee (Vincent) Goff, Eddie Hebert, III and Orrin Hebert; great-grandchildren, Jason Jarrett,Jr., Hayden Jarrett, Shannatha Carter, Brynn Carter, Kayleigh Stringer, Charlea Stringer, Eddie Hebert, IV, Timmy Hebert; great-great-grandchild, Dana Nelson; and her brother, Phillip Riggle.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2008, at Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home, Howard Avenue, in Biloxi where friends may visit from 9 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Lamey Family Cemetery in D'Iberville.
