Douglas Allen Collom

Douglas Allen Collom, 59, of Biloxi passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 in Ocean Springs. Mr. Collom had been a long time resident of the coastal community. He was a member and past President of IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) local#733 and the Jackson County Democratic Federation. He retired from Ingalls after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodard W. and Frances Collom; and a brother, Buddy Collom. Survivors include his wife, Kristine Anderson Collom of Biloxi; daughter, Hillary Collom Anseman and her husband Brian of St. Martin; sisters, Frances Fuselier of New Orleans, LA and Mary Sims of Ellisville, MS; grandchildren, Jakob and Mia Anseman both of St. Martin. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the Ocean Springs Chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Homes. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Heritage United Methodist Church in D'Iberville, where friends may visit one hour prior to service. Burial to follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
